Safe Ministry at DPC
People matter - to God. And people matter - to us.
At Dubbo Presbyterian Church we value children and are committed to providing for the safety of all children entrusted to our care. We want all our activities to be transparently safe.
Our Child Protection Policy
We have adopted the Breaking the Silence Child Protection Policy provided by the Presbyterian Church of NSW. This states in broad principles our approach to Child protection. Everyone working with Children at DPC has agreed to this policy. This includes a mandatory reporting policy for any situation where people are at risk of harm.
You can click on the link below to download and read our Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.
Our WWC Procedures
We work to ensure that our church activities follow this policy and code of conduct, making them a safe place, especially for children and vulnerable people.
All of our volunteers working with children and youth must have a current Working With Children Check and training in working with vulnerable people.
All growth group and ministry team leaders at DPC also have this requirement. If you are a leader looking for our procedures click on the link below. If you are a DPC member wanting to apply to work with children, click on the link below.
A safe place for Women
We have a DPC women’s support co-ordinator as well as other women in the church who are available to help women who are in need of crisis care. Click on the link below for more information.
